Termly adventures for children.
We pride ourselves In newness and constant development within creativity which means each school term we will host workshops for children aged 5-15 taken over by specialists in areas of: drama therapy , film acting for kids, voice acting , puppet theatre, musical theatre basics, stage combat and so much more. we will also always have new content/scripts for the children to engage in to keep their creative minds ticking.
ABOUT ME
Hi my name is Destiny, I began Acting from as early as primary school. I built a love for the craft and studied acting right through to university completing a Bachelor’s degree in Acting at drama school. I began working with children two years ago and ever since I have been dedicated and driven to help children reach their full potential to ensure they shine in their Purposes from a young age. I have featured in short films and campaigns alongside well known brands and talent such as: Uber, Fairy, sprite, BBC, giffgaff, Superdrug and meta. I have had the joy of performing both classical and contemporary on the stage. I also am a full time social media content creator alongside my best friend, you can check out our page @dnlishworld. I believe that children are visionary and they show hope for the future of the industry.
MISSION
Destiny Catchers mission is to push excellence to help your child to reach full creative potential with consistency, discipline and most importantly fun. We aim to excel your child’s confidence, whilst teaching the disciplinary fundamentals of Acting. The skill set learnt does not only benefit their creativity but will spread into other areas of their lives making them an all round individual. We believe it is important that children that are naturally creative expresses themselves in a creative way, so we see Acting as a form of therapy to help children to come to terms with emotions and who they are as an individual and Destiny Catchers will create a comfortable space to develop emotional intelligence and strengthen identity. We are routed in Purpose, passion, belief and ambition to create a generational impact and legacy for every child.
